Frequenlty Asked Questions

Is shipping included in the price?
Shipping is included in select regions. For other areas, including international deliveries, final shipping costs will depend on your exact location. Please contact us with your delivery address, and our team will confirm whether additional shipping charges apply.

Shipping is included for orders within the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East and parts of Europe. For other regions, shipping fees may apply depending on your exact location.
Each Capsul home comes with electrical wiring and plumbing pre-installed. However, installation is not included. Customers are responsible for:

  • Connecting the home to local water, electricity, and/or septic systems
  • Hiring a crane and crew to place the unit on their foundation (e.g. slab, concrete blocks, or piers)
  • Unfolding expandable sections and completing kitchen setup, if applicable

These steps are simple and typically take less than one hour when arranged with local professionals.

The kitchen ceiling height is approximately 7.3 feet (2.2 meters) across all units by default. However, in expandable models, it can be increased up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) upon request.

Kitchen size depends on the model:

  • 20×8 ft Non-Expandable: Compact kitchenette setup — best suited for 1-2 people, includes basic counter space and sink area.

  • 40×8 ft Non-Expandable: Slightly larger kitchen with extended countertop space; still space-efficient but functional.

  • 20×20 ft Expandable: Full kitchen option available, fits a small fridge, cabinets, and functional cooking space.

  • 40×20 ft Expandable: Offers a spacious full kitchen layout with room for stove, full-size fridge, cabinetry, and dining counter — ideal for families or long-term living.

We recommend installing one air conditioning unit per bedroom and one unit for the main living area for optimal comfort.

All Capsul homes come pre-wired for AC installation in every room to make setup easy. However, we do not supply air conditioning or heating systems directly. Customers are encouraged to purchase portable electric heaters or work with a local HVAC provider to install a furnace or centralized system, based on their climate and personal preferences.

This flexible approach allows you to choose equipment suited to your region, with access to local service and warranty support.

Yes. All homes come with a 10-year structural warranty covering the frame and core build of your unit. For non-expandable models that include built-in furniture, we also offer a 7-year warranty on fixed interior components, subject to standard usage.

Please note that appliances are not included. We recommend purchasing appliances locally, allowing you to benefit from regional warranty support and easier servicing.

Our commitment is to provide a durable, high-quality living space — and we proudly stand behind our craftsmanship.

On average, Capsul homes have a lifespan of 25 years or more, depending on environmental conditions and proper maintenance. The steel structure is highly durable, and when upgraded with PU (polyurethane) siding, the home is even more resistant to weather, moisture, and corrosion—extending its longevity significantly.
Each Capsul home includes between 4 to 10 windows, depending on the model size and customer preferences. Window placement and quantity can be customized to suit your needs, ensuring optimal natural light and airflow.
Yes the electric and plumbing system will be installed in the home, however clients need to connect it to their own electric and water lines/septic.

Foundation is not included with your Capsul unit. Clients typically arrange one of the following options based on site conditions and preference:

  • Concrete slab
  • Concrete blocks
  • Pier and beam system

If using concrete blocks or a pier and beam system, supports must be spaced 61.6 inches (1.56 meters) apart, with a total of 8 support points required for proper load distribution.
We recommend consulting a local contractor or engineer to ensure the foundation meets site and safety requirements.

20ft home is 6172 pounds, 40ft home is 10362 pounds
Are the homes insulated?

All units come with built-in insulation designed for year-round comfort and durability.

By default, each home includes two layers: a durable inner wall panel and a thermal barrier. For customers in extreme climates, we offer optional insulation upgrades using high-performance fiberglass or spray foam — both known for their excellent energy efficiency and soundproofing capabilities.

These materials are globally trusted and help maintain a comfortable indoor temperature, whether in hot or cold environments.

Yes — additional bedrooms or bathrooms can be added, depending on the model.

For our 40-foot expandable homes, we can customize the layout to include an extra bedroom or bathroom. For non-expandable units, space is more limited; while a second bathroom may be possible, it would generally be compact and based on layout feasibility.

Standard ceiling height in Capsul homes is 7.35 ft (2.24 meters). However, depending on the model and customization, ceilings can be extended up to 9 ft (2.74 meters) for an even more open and spacious feel.
Capsul homes are typically classified as temporary or relocatable structures, which means in most cases they are not subject to the same building codes as permanent dwellings. In the US, EU, and Australia, local regulations vary by state or council. Generally, if used as a temporary residence, office, or auxiliary unit, they may not require full compliance with residential building codes. However, for permanent installation or connection to utilities, permits or inspections may still be required.
We recommend checking with your local authority to confirm zoning, usage, and permitting requirements for your location.

All units are designed to withstand varying weather conditions. By default, rainwater flows off the flat roof naturally. However, for enhanced drainage, customers may request a sloped roof or integrated gutter system as an optional upgrade at an additional cost.

Please let us know your region’s climate needs so we can recommend the best configuration for your unit.

Our pricing includes complimentary shipping within the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East and select regions in Europe. For other countries, shipping costs will be confirmed based on your specific location.

Each unit is delivered fully equipped with pre-installed electrical wiring and plumbing. However, customers are responsible for arranging local professionals to connect the unit to external utilities such as water lines, electrical systems, and septic tanks.

Homes are delivered to your site via flatbed truck and require offloading using a crane. Installation on your foundation must be arranged locally. For expandable models, customers will also need to engage a professional to unfold the cabins and complete the kitchen setup. This process typically takes less than one hour.

We do not offer on-site installation or utility connection services.

All homes are custom ordered, lead times will be 8-10 weeks (if it takes longer we will let you know.)
